- 2 small heads broccoli, cut into florets
- 12 large brussel sprouts, halved
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

Directions
Start by preparing the broccoli and Brussels sprouts as indicated in the ingredients list.
Heat the canola oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the minced fresh ginger and garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add the broccoli florets and halved Brussels sprouts to the wok. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables start to brown and soften slightly.
While the vegetables are cooking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, water, brown sugar, crushed chili peppers, ground ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
Pour the sauce over the cooking vegetables in the wok. Stir well to coat all the vegetables in the sauce. Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the vegetables are cooked to your liking.
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the stir-fry just before serving. Gently mix to distribute the seeds throughout.
